James McIntyre '72 was a four-year varsity letterwinner in basketball for Monmouth College. McIntyre, who finished his collegiate career with 1,411 career points, ranked 13th all-time in scoring with 1,411 career points in Monmouth's all-time history. The all-time program leader with 1,420 career rebounds, McIntyre helped lead Monmouth to four consecutive conference championships, and helped guide the Hawks to three NAIA District 31 Championships. McIntyre was named a first-team all-conference performer on three occasions for Monmouth.
