Donald Wiley '80 was a two-sport athlete at Monmouth from 1976-80, playing four years of basketball and a pair of seasons on the baseball squad. Wiley, a 1980 draft choice of the New York Knicks, ranks 12th on the Hawks' all-time scoring list with 1,431 career points, while adding 1,100+ career rebounds. An honorable mention Division II All-American in 1980, Wiley was a two-time team MVP and was twice named the Big Apple Conference Most Valuable Player (1979, 1980). A second-team All-East selection in 1980, Wiley ranked second in the NCAA in rebounding that season, averaging 15.5 rebounds per game.
