Dr. Bordiuk '79 attended Monmouth from 1975 to 1979, where he competed in cross country and track and field all four years. While at Monmouth, Bordiuk was a national qualifier in the NCAA Division III 400 hurdles in 1977 and 1978, while he held the school-record for the triple jump and 400 hurdles.  An ICAAAA semifinalist in the 400 hurdles in 1978, Bordiuk claimed the NAIA District 31 Championship in 1976 and 1977, and was tabbed the Monmouth Track Athlete of the Year in both 1976 and 1977. After his college career, Bordiuk returned to coach at his alma mater from 1985-1991, where he was the Men’s Assistant Coach from 1985-1987. In 1987, he was credited with starting the Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs, which won two NEC Championships. He has also served as a team physician since 1985.
