WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Following a 13-strikeout performance, Monmouth University Baseball's
Trey Dombroski was named one of Collegiate Baseball News' National Players of the Week.
Dombroski struck out a career high 13 in a win over Quinnipiac Thursday, the most K's in a game by a Hawk since Frank Trimarco in 2016. He allowed just three earned runs and one walk in the win, his fifth of the season. Dombroski has earned four MAAC Pitcher of the Week honors this year.
The Hawks are back in action this Wednesday, taking on NJIT at 3:00 p.m.
