2021 (Sophomore): Pitched in nine games, starting eight… Posted a 2.73 ERA with a 5-1 record, striking out 64 batters in 52.2 innings… Named to 2021 All-MAAC Tournament team… Walked just eight batters all season… Strikeout-to-walk ratio of 8.00 ranked sixth nationally and tops in the MAAC… Placed 18^th in the NCAA in Walks Allowed Per Nine Innings (1.37)… Struck out seven in allowing just one run and no walks against Manhattan (3/28)… Fanned 10 in seven scoreless innings against Siena (4/2)… Struck out 10 in win over Marist (5/1)… Added 10 more K’s in seven scoreless vs. Saint Peter’s (5/8)… Punched out 10 more in 6.2 strong innings vs. Siena in the MAAC Tournament (5/21)… Came out of the bullpen to fire 7.1 shutout frames with seven K’s in MAAC Tourney vs. Fairfield (5/27)… Following season, was named Most Outstanding Pitcher in prestigious Cape Cod League.

2020 (Freshman): Pitched in four games as a freshman, starting all of them… Went 1-2 with a 4.74 ERA in 19 innings… Struck out 15 and walked just four… Debut came vs. Bucknell (2/15)… Struck out nine at Wofford (2/23)… First win came in seven-inning victory at George Washington where he did not allow an earned run (3/7).

HIGH SCHOOL: Dombroski pitched at local Wall High School under Head Coach Todd Schmitt. The left hander posted a 6-0 record with a 0.47 ERA as a sophomore before going 8-1 with a 0.54 as a junior. In 2018, he was named Shore Conference Player of the Year as well as the B North Pitcher of the Year. He was a First-Team All-Shore selection, as well as earning Asbury Park Press Player of the Year honors. In 2017, Dombroski earned Second-Team All Shore accolades and was named All-B North. He helped the Knights to the 2018 B North title, and was a member of the Carpenter Cup.

PERSONAL: Son of Ellen and Howard, Jr. … Majoring in business accounting… Brother, Regan also pitched for the Hawks through 2021.
