Trey Dombroski was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week, and infielder
James Harmstead earned Player of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Dombroski earned the honor for the third time in four weeks this season, doing so after tossing seven strong innings in a win against North Carolina A&T. He allowed just two runs on five hits, walking none with 10 strikeouts in the game to move to 3-0 on the season.
Harmstead posted big power numbers last week across four games, homering three times including two long balls at Fairleigh Dickinson and a grand slam against North Carolina A&T. He drove in seven runs on the week with four extra base hits, and walked four times, getting on base at a .444 clip.
The Hawks are back in action tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. when they head to Penn.
