TEANECK, N.J. – The Monmouth University baseball team hit five home runs en route to a 15-14 victory at FDU on Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks ran their current win streak to five straight games.Â

The Hawks wasted little time getting on the board in this one as the third batter of the game,
RJ Mustaro cranked a three-run home run to right center.

FDU answered back with three in the bottom of the first to tie things up.

Home runs from
Wyatt Hunt and
Sam Saucke highlighted a six-run stretch for the Hawks that pushed the Monmouth lead to 9-3.

FDU scored five in the bottom of the fourth and cut the Monmouth lead to 9-8.

Kevin Fedoruk hit Monmouth's fourth home run of the day in the fifth and pushed the lead to 10-8.Â

FDU scored three in its half of the fifth and went up 11-10.

Monmouth scored fourth in the sixth and took the lead back, 14-10.
Simmi Whitehill homered while
Colin Richter had a two-run double.

The two teams traded runs over the final three innings as the Hawks closed out a 15-14 win.
