QUOTES
"It was a productive weekend in Charlottesville at the Virginia Challenge. I was proud of the way we competed against some of the best competition in the country. We had a wide range of performances and really excelled in some events. We struggled in others, and we'll learn from the experience. Any time you go up against the best, you walk away a little wiser and more prepared for future meets.
Â
We had two new freshman records and two school records!
Yasmeen Tinsley set the freshman record in the 400m hurdles and Evan Niedrowski threw a bomb in the javelin finishing as the second collegian. School records were set by Dalton Yeust in the pole vault and Mohamed Diagouraga in the triple jump. Overall, it was a great weekend, and we look forward to our next competitions at the Penn Relays and Lehigh Covert Classic. Fly Hawks!" –
