WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mike Nelson has announced the addition of 16 student-athletes who will join the women's track and field team ahead of the 2021 fall semester.
 
"We're thrilled to announce our 2021 women's recruiting class," said Nelson. "As a staff, we worked diligently to bring in student-athletes who can help us chase excellence and achieve our team goals. Our recruiting coordinator, Coach Damon Godfrey, deserves a lot of credit for his tireless work helping to assemble this class. From a recruiting perspective, there has never been another year like this past one.  There were challenges across the board for both us as coaches and for the recruits. Despite the adversity, we were able to assemble an absolutely outstanding class filled with champions and record holders. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch them develop academically and athletically over the course of their collegiate careers."
