WYOMING, MI – The Monmouth University bowling team completed its 2020-21 season over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Team Championships at Spectrum Entertainment Complex. It was Monmouth's first appearance as a team at the national tournament.
The tournament featured double-elimination style best-of-seven baker matches. Monmouth opened the event with a narrow victory over Lincoln Memorial, before falling to Wisconsin-Whitewater (4-2) in the second round. The Hawks' run came to an end against Baker University with a 4-3 setback.
Individually, freshman
Jenna Lehrer was one of 24 competitors in the Intercollegiate Singles Championship and she advanced to the second round of the tournament following a 521-502 victory over Emily Tull from the University of Pikeville.
