Three Monmouth Bowlers Earn All-Northeast Conference Distinction

March 20, 2025

West Long Branch, NJ - Three Monmouth Hawks received All-Northeast Conference recognition for their efforts during the 2024-25 bowling season.

Sophomore Morgan Davis headlines the trio of student-athletes with a selection to the All-NEC First Team. Graduate student Marissa Cosentini earned one of five available spots on the All-NEC Second Team.

Although she came up short in the NEC Rookie of the Year voting, freshman phenom Kailyn Bloch was one of five women to claim All-Rookie status. Bloch won NEC Rookie of the Week honors on four occasions this season and was twice selected as the NEC Bowler of the Week.

The conference office announced the accolades on Thursday, one day before the NEC Championship kicks off at Hamilton Lanes. All three honorees return to action on March 21 when Monmouth contests the four-team NEC Tournament as the No. 4 seed.

Helping the Hawks to a 14-10 record in conference play, Davis led all NEC bowlers in overall frame average (19.56) over the course of two three-day regular season conference meets. Cosentini was ninth overall on the NEC leaderboard, averaging 18.76 pins per frame in conference matches. Bloch was right behind in the No. 10 spot with an 18.66 overall frame average.
