DAYTON, OH – Competing in its first-ever USBC Sectionals event, the Monmouth University bowling team delivered outstanding team and individual performances over the weekend at Poelking Lanes South.

During Friday's individual ISC competition, freshman
Jenna Lehrer placed second among 151 competitors and was one of six bowlers to advance to the National Singles Championship. Lehrer will be one of 24 women vying for the individual national title at Spectrum Entertainment Complex beginning on May 3.
As a team, Monmouth also shined as the Hawks second-place effort also earned them a spot in the National Championships. Monmouth was one of four teams in the Dayton regional to advance and will be one of 16 teams competing in Wyoming, MI from May 5-8.

Jenna Lehrer will be Monmouth's second individual to compete at the Intercollegiate Singles Championship, joining
Jackie Evans, who competed in 2018.
- Monmouth finished behind Delaware State and ahead of Lawrence Tech and St. Ambrose, the four teams to advance from the Dayton region.

Jenna Lehrer rolled three 200+ games, including a career-high 247. Lehrer now has six 200+ games this season and her second-place finish was her best of the season.

Camelia Coffman had a high game of 245, her fifth 200+ game of the season and the 34
th of her career.

Skylar Smith threw a season-high game of 244, giving her five 200+ games on the season and 25 in her career. Â

Saige Yamada tossed a pair of 200+ games, giving her four this season and 26 for her career.

Mafe Aguiluz threw two 200+ games, giving her three this year. Her 228 game was a new career best.

Dani Seaman rolled a 200 game, her first of the season and the fifth of her career.

Lehrer will compete in the Intercollegiate Singles Championship beginning on May 3. Monmouth's team competition will start on May 5 and both events will be held in Wyoming, MI at Spectrum Entertainment Complex.
