WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT WALSH
"JP is a student of the game. Always well prepared and loved to practice, JP always had a plan. JP was a difference maker on defense; he could really cover some ground. His defensive contributions in 2019 were incredibly impressive and a huge reason for our success." - Head Coach Dean Ehehalt
"Roommates when we were in the dorms - a great teammate." - Danny Long
"Always wanted to make others better. Funny to see him decked out in camo or hunting gear with his mullet." - Johnny Zega
"I loved seeing how passionate JP was about baseball." - Zach Schild
"Loves the game, loves his teammates and his preparation is key to his success, always getting extra reps and going out to the field early before practice." -
Chris Hawryluk
"Best memory: JPs diving play against Niagara to end the game. This series would start a huge winning streak for the Hawks and eventually led us to a regular season championship." -
James Kelly
"Was constantly working on his game and did whatever it took to win; all business." - Jordan McCrum
"Another extreme hard worker and one of the fastest people I've played baseball with. Also, a great teammate was always there to talk baseball and help you out. Also, my bus seat partner our first two years we had to share seats so we have a lot of memories but one that sticks out is at GW. JP was basically going in as a runner and defensive replacement at this time of the season and I remember he went in and dropped a fly ball and he came on the bus and thought he was never going to play again and I told him he was crazy. He then ended up starting half way through the season and having a great college career." - Regan Dombroski
