NEW CASTLE, DE –  The Monmouth University bowling team went 7-2 to finish second overall at the Northeast Roundup this weekend at Bowlerama.

Monmouth earned four traditional match wins and two baker victories over the weekend, including a win over #23 Wilmington. The Hawks fell to #15 Fairleigh Dickinson in the final of Sunday's bracket play.

Sophomore Saige Yamada finished fifth overall to lead the Hawks with a series score of 1104 across five traditional games, including a career-high game of 267.

- Monmouth's highest pin total in traditional format was 1096 in the win over Wilmington. The Hawks' highest baker match total was 1063 in the win over Caldwell.

- Monmouth's largest margin of victory was 271 pins in the baker match win over Caldwell (1063-792).

- Sophomore Saige Yamada had three 200+ games, including a career-best game of 267, giving her 17 200+ games on the season and 22 for her career. Yamada earned her third top-five finish of the season.

- Junior Camelia Coffman had three 200+ games and placed ninth overall, the highest finish of her season. Coffman has 12 200+ games this season and 29 in her career.

- Senior Kyla Day totaled three 200+ games, including a career and team-weekend high game of 268. Day has eight 200+ games in 2019-20 and 24 for her career. Day's 10th place finish was her best of the year.

- Sophomore Skylar Smith rolled four 200+ games, highlighted by a weekend-high game of 236. Smith has 18 200+ games this year and 20 for her career following her 11th place finish.

- Sophomore Dani Seaman threw one 200+ game, including a career-high 229. She has four career 200+ games, all this season.
