BOWLING REVEALS 2019-20 SCHEDULE

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Director of Bowling Karen Grygiel announced the Monmouth women's bowling 2019-20 schedule on Wednesday.

"We are excited for the upcoming season and the opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in the country at several of these events," Grygiel said. "I can't wait for our team to return to campus and start our preparation."

The Hawks will compete in a total of ten events this upcoming season, including hosting the Annual Hawk Flight Invite (Feb. 28 - March 1).

Monmouth's season begins on Oct. 13 when it hosts Fairleigh Dickinson in an exhibition match at Ciniello Family Bowling Center on campus. The Hawks begin their regular season in New Jersey on Oct. 25, when they participate in the Caldwell Cougar Classic in Rockaway, NJ.

The Hawks then have their first conference matchup in Baltimore at MEAC Meet #1 on Nov. 8. Monmouth enters its second year as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and the event is the first of two regular season MEAC competitions on the schedule, with the second in Pensacola, FL in late February.

Weekend competition in Delaware, Las Vegas, and Pennsylvania, are tune-ups ahead of MEAC Meet #2. Monmouth will then host the Hawk Flight Invite on Feb. 28 to close the regular season.

The MEAC Championships are set for March 20-22 in Chesapeake, VA, while the NCAA Championships will be held in Detroit on April 9, 2020. This season, the NCAA Championship field has expanded to 16 teams, with seven automatic qualifiers and nine at-large selections.
