BETHLEHEM/LEWISBURG, PA- The Monmouth University men's and women's track and field teams saw their field performers dominate over the weekend at the Coach P Invitational at Moravian College. In total, the throwers won a total of five events at Moravian. A group of Hawks also posted impressive IC4A/ECAC qualifying times at Bucknell in the Bison Outdoor Classic.

"We need to keep moving forward the next few weeks, but we did have a lot of people step up at both meets this weekend," said head coach Joe Compagni. "The sprinters, jumpers and throwers took advantage of the opportunity in Bethlehem, and we had some super races at the distance night at Bucknell."
COACH P INVITATIONAL

• In the women's shot put, the Hawks swept the top five as Allison Taub won the event with a throw of 47'4.25". Chibuzo Amonu (42'2.25"), Jordan Wildermuth (41'6.5"), Catherine Light (41'1.75") and Onnie Coles (40'0.75") rounded out the top five.
• Patrice Baston won the long jump with a jump of 18'6".
• Freshman Ashley Navarro won the 800 meters in 2:18.11.
• Danielle Steff won the javelin with a throw of 163'1", which puts her in the top 20 on the NCAA performance list for the eastern region.
• Iyanna Jenkins finished 2^nd in the 100-meter dash by running a personal best 12.14 seconds.
• Chloe Angelini took second in the high jump by clearing 5'3".
• Taub also finished second in the discus with a mark of 153'2".
• Freshman Lauren Saifi cleared 11 feet to place third in the pole vault.
• For the men, Montel Johnson won the hammer throw with a mark of 186'3".
• Senior Darius Howe won the triple jump by leaping 47'9".
• The Hawks held the top four spots in the men's javelin as Mark Orlando finished as the top collegian with a mark of 192'7". Dorian Jackson (192'), Peter Flacco (188'3.5") and Alex Messick (187'6") rounded out the top five.
• Romain Rhoden, Miguerson Joseph, Bryan Sosoo and Khalid Slocum teamed up to win the 4x100 relay in 40.9 seconds.
• Tim Jacoutot won the 400-meter hurdles by finishing in 54.1 seconds.
• Andrew Tummino and Dan Gilligan went 2-3 in the discus throw with IC4A qualifying marks of 156'2" and 155'4", respectively.
• Rhoden also finished 3^rd in the long jump with a IC4A qualifying jump of 23'3".
• Joseph and Sosoo tied for third in the 100-meter dash as they both crossed the finish line in 10.74 seconds.
• Nadale Buntin ran a season best 47.51 seconds in the 400-meter dash to finish second.

BISON OUTDOOR CLASSIC

• Louis DiLaurenzio and Ryan Rafferty posted IC4A qualifying times of 3:51.71 and 3:54.38 in the 1500 meters.
• Allie Wilson broke the school record and placed fifth in the 1500 meters with a ECAC qualifying time of 4:21.08. Brianna and Amber Stratz finished in 4:30 and 4:31 to qualify for the ECAC Championships as well.
• Kyle Mueller finished the 10,000 meters in 30:18, which is now the second fastest time in school history while teammate Ryan Mitchell posted the sixth fastest time of 30:47. Both times were well under the IC4A qualification standard.

NEXT UP

• The Hawks will hit the road once again as some athletes will go down to the University of Virginia for the Virginia Challenge on Friday and Saturday. Another group will travel to Princeton University to compete in the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
