STRATFORD, NJ – The Monmouth University bowling team earned a fourth-place finish at the 2017 FDU Jamboree this weekend at 30 Strikes Lanes.
Monmouth went 6-7 during the three-day event, but ranked third among the 15 competing teams in total pins. The Hawks also posted their second head-to-head win of the season over No. 8 Fairleigh Dickinson during Friday's Baker match.
For the second straight week seniorÂ
Jackie Evans led the Hawks individually, and she placed second among individuals as she averaged 222.20 over five traditional games.

- The No. 13 ranked Hawks defeated No. 8 FDU by a 1049-944 score in a Baker match.
- The top-10 victory gives the Hawks two top-10 wins for the 2017-18 season.Â
- Monmouth also recorded wins against Felician, Bethune-Cookman, Morgan State and Chestnut Hill.
