FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL – The Monmouth University women's bowling team earned a 13th-place finish at the 2017 Brunswick Bearcat Open over the weekend at St. Clair Bowl.
Monmouth went 5-8 during the three-day event, including a 2-1 record in Championship play on Sunday, which included consecutive wins over Lincoln Memorial and No. 18 North Carolina A&T. The Hawks also claimed a head-to-head win over No. 8 Fairleigh Dickinson during Friday's Baker match.

Jackie Evans paced the Hawks individually with a 28
th overall finish as she averaged 191.20 over five traditional games.
