WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Head Bowling Coach Karen Grygiel announced the program's 2016-17 schedule on Monday.

“This season's tournament selection offers the opportunity to compete against a variety of opponents, while staying more local to the Northeast,” Grygiel said. “We are especially excited for our home event in March, which will host teams from all around the nation.”

The Hawks will compete in a total of nine events, including three in the Garden State, prior to participating in the annual Southland League Championships.

Monmouth's season begins on October 21 when it travels to Orlando, FL to take part in the BCU Wildcat Invite.

The Hawks then return home to play the first of their three New Jersey events the following weekend at the FDU Jamboree.

Following contests in Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Texas, Monmouth will co-host the Garden State Classic in February. The Hawks then host the Hawk Flight Invite the first weekend in March in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ, prior to closing the regular season in Nashville, TN at the Music City Classic.

The Southland League Championship is set for March 25-26, while the NCAA Championships will be held in Baton Rouge, LA from April 13-15.
