MILLSBORO, DE – The Monmouth University women's bowling team with a second-place finish at the UMES Hawk Classic.
The Hawks went 8-6 over the three-day event, including a 4-2 record in Traditional play on Saturday, before falling in the championship match to No. 6 Sam Houston State in Sunday's bracket by a 4-3 final.

- The No. 16 ranked Hawks defeated the tournament host and No. 11 Maryland Eastern Shore in traditional format (979-952) and in Sunday's Championship bracket (4-3)

- Monmouth scored above 900 in four of its five Baker matches, with a high of 1,001 in a loss to the No. 6 Bearkats.
