WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Monmouth University baseball team's season-opening series at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., has been cancelled, due to snow and poor field conditions. No make-up dates have been scheduled.

MU will now have to wait until Friday, March 5 to begin the 2010 season, when the Hawks travel to San Diego State University.
