RICHMOND, VA — Monmouth University landed four preseason All-CAA picks, announced by the conference office Thursday with the reigning regular season champs also being named No. 1 in the CAA preseason poll.
 
Senior defender Eulalie Brouwers (Uccle, Belgium), junior forward Claire Campen (Hawley, PA), junior midfielder Milla Frye (Ratingen, Germany) and sophomore defender Florence van Doorn (Zoetermeer, Netherlands) were among 11 named to the Coastal Athletic Association preseason squad, as the Hawks led the way with four selections.
 
Brouwers is the reigning CAA Defensive Player of the Year, while also garnering First Team All-CAA and NFHCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors in 2025. She was the first ever CAA Defensive Player of the Year honoree for the program after leading the team defensively, which allowed just 1.76 goals against last season. She saw action in all 17 games and paced the team in minutes played.
 
Campen was a First-Team All-CAA and Second-Team NFHCA Mid-Atlantic selection last season in her second year after earning CAA All-Rookie Team honors in 2024. She started in all 17 games for the Hawks and led the team in goals (12) while finishing second in points (24), which included two game-winning goals in 911 minutes played.

Frye also was an All-CAA First Team select last season and earned a First-Team NFHCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region nod after starting in all 17 games where she tallied eight goals and two assists to solidify Monmouth in the middle of the field as a sophomore last season. She led the team and the CAA in shots (76) and registered one game-winning goal.
 
Van Doorn was a standout in her first year of collegiate hockey, as she was named as the 2025 CAA Rookie of the Year, while also landing First-Team All-CAA and NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Team honors after appearing in all 17 games for the Hawks with 15 starts. She added six goals and six assists to finish tied for third on the team in points (18) while logging 863 minutes on the field.
 
Including their four 2026 preseason All-CAA selections, Monmouth returns virtually their entire lineup from last season including all of their top point-getters and all six All-CAA selections. The Hawks finished the regular season undefeated in the CAA, going 5-0 to claim their third CAA regular season title in the last four years, but were upset in the championship round to Drexel. The Dragons earned three selections to the preseason All-CAA squad including CAA Preseason Player of the Year Valentine Van Hellemont.
