WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University field hockey team collected three major Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) awards, as head coach
Carli Figlio was named CAA Coach of the Year, freshman
Florence van Doorn earned CAA Rookie of the Year, and junior
Eulalie Brouwers was selected as the CAA Defensive Player of the Year.
In addition, six Hawks received CAA All-Conference honors.
Claire Campen,
Milla Frye, van Doorn, and Brouwers were all named to the All-CAA First Team, while sophomore midfielder
Lilly Ricks earned Second Team honors.
Luisa Schlueter and van Doorn also secured spots on the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Brouwers becomes the first player in Monmouth history to earn CAA Defensive Player of the Year. The Belgium native started all 15 games this season, recording a career-high nine points on one goal and seven assists. She anchored a defensive unit that posted two shutouts and outscored opponents 60–27. This marks the first CAA honor of Brouwers' career.
Head coach
Carli Figlio collected her third CAA Coach of the Year award after leading Monmouth to a program-best No. 11 NFHCA national ranking and the program's third CAA Regular Season Championship. The Hawks finished the regular season 12–3 overall and 5–0 in conference play, earning the No. 1 seed in the CAA Tournament. Figlio also celebrated her 200th career win earlier this season with a victory over Rider.
Freshman standout
Florence van Doorn became Monmouth's second consecutive CAA Rookie of the Year following a stellar debut campaign. She was also named to both the All-CAA First Team and All-Rookie Team. The Zoetermeer, Netherlands native totaled 17 points on six goals and five assists, while playing a key role on Monmouth's dominant defense. She earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and CAA Rookie of the Week honors twice this season. Van Doorn recorded a career-high four points in Monmouth's 4–1 win over Northeastern, helping secure the regular season title.
Sophomore captain
Claire Campen earned her first All-CAA First Team selection after a breakout season leading the Hawks' offense. She tallied a team-high 11 goals, earning CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors once this year after scoring six points in two games. Campen notched a career-high two goals in Monmouth's 5–2 win over Temple.
Sophomore midfielder forward
Milla Frye picked up her first All-CAA First Team recognition after an outstanding season in which she started all 15 games. She recorded 15 points on seven goals and one assist, including a season-high two goals in a 4–1 win over Towson. The Germany native has registered at least one point in seven games this season. This marks Frye's second career CAA honor after earning Second Team recognition in 2024.
Sophomore midfielder
Lilly Ricks earned her first straight All-CAA Second Team honor. She contributed four assists this season, including a season-high two in Monmouth's thrilling 3–2 overtime win over Drexel.
Defender
Luisa Schlueter capped off an impressive first season by earning a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team. The Germany native started all 15 games, recording eight assists—the second-most on the team—while helping anchor a defense that posted two shutouts and held opponents to just 27 goals all season.
