WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University Field Hockey team is the 20
th ranked club in the nation, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced Tuesday morning.
The Hawks (6-1, 1-0 CAA) crack the nation's Top 20 after compiling their best start to a season through seven games since 2016. Outscoring opponents 27-10, Monmouth ranks fourth nationally in goals per game and is one of just 11 teams in the country with at least six wins. In addition, the Hawks rank 10
th nationally in RPI.

Sofia Fouces, two NFHCA Preseason Watch List members, have led the charge offensively for Monmouth with freshman midfielder
Milla Frye joining them atop the CAA with 11 points each. Sophomore goalkeeper
Jessie Eiselin has contributed to three consecutive shutouts ranking fifth in the nation in save percentage at (0.846) and sixth nationally in saves per game (7.86).
Monmouth, winners of four straight, looks to continue its hot start to the 2024 season this weekend with games at Drexel (Friday, Sept. 27) and Temple (Sunday, Sept. 29).
