WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Senior Ben Zakowski earned Second Team All-Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) accolades after a stellar fall season. 
 
The midfielder picked up several honors this year after leading the Hawks to a share of the CAA Regular Season Championship and a spot in the CAA Championship game. Zakowski earned First Team All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and First Team All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) accolades.

"I am very happy to see Ben get this recognition," said head coach Robert McCourt. "It has been an incredible year for him and the team. I am excited to follow Ben in his next steps in his career."
 
He started 17 matches and led the Hawks with 12 goals and one assist for 25 points. 
 
Zakowski ranked second in the CAA for goals and points while being tied for the lead in game-winning goals. He scored a pair of goals in a game twice this year and a four-game goal scoring streak earlier this year.  
 
Zakowski scored four of his goals on penalty kicks, including one in the CAA Championship match. His six game-winning goals was tied for third national.
