RICHMOND, VA – After posting a career-high eight saves at Northeastern, Monmouth University men's soccer freshman goalkeeper
Herman Johnsen was named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week by league officials.
Â
Johnsen, who was honored for the first time in his career, becomes the third Hawk to take home rookie of the week accolades from the conference (
Marcin Kluz – Aug. 25,
Marco Pantano – Sept. 29). He is the fifth Hawk to be honored by the league this year (Kluz,

Â
It was the third time in six matches that Johnsen has registered five or more saves.
