JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Monmouth University men's and women's swimming teams each earned convincing victories over Saint Peter's in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at Yanitelli Center. 
 
The men earned a 173-80 victory, while the women came away with a 182-55 triumph in the final conference dual meet of the regular season.
 
Jensen Ritter won four individual events to lead the women's team, while Callan Smith earned three victories on the men's side.
 
NOTES & QUOTES 
"A good start to the second semester for the women and a nice bounce back performance for the men. I thought both teams swam well and showed a lot of toughness today, with where we are in the season right now, physically they are feeling beat up and tired and despite that they raced well and finished strong. I feel good about the position we are in with one meet left and where we can go this season. I am excited about the results today and am looking forward to honoring our seniors next week against La Salle."

- Jensen Ritter won the 100 fly (1:00.90), 200 fly (2:14.55), 100 free (57.69) and 1000 free (11:16.53) to give her five victories in her freshman season.

- Tahlia Botha took the top spot in both breaststroke events. Botha won the 100 breast (1:09.48) and 200 breast (2:31.78). She won her first two events of the year and now has 22 wins in her career.

- Freshman Georgia Watkins now has 10 individual wins this season after taking first in the 200 free (2:01.25) and the 500 free (5:25.37).

Alexandra Ho won the 50 free in 24.98 and Alexa Houseknecht won the 100 back in 1:01.20. Ho has 10 wins this season and 26 in her career. Houseknecht's win was the first of her freshman campaign.

- Callan Smith placed first in three events, the 100 back (55.03), 100 free (47.87) and 200 IM (1:59.84). Smith increased his season victory total to 15 and career total to 70.

- Cole Dyson finished ahead of the field in the 200 free (1:46.15) and 500 free (4:48.38). Dyson now has nine individual wins this season and 10 in his Monmouth career.

- Blake Reynolds hit the wall first in the 50 free (21.81) and the 100 fly (52.32). Reynolds has 23 career wins and six this season.

- Dylan Edge also won a pair of races, giving him three this year and 16 in his career. Edge paced the field in the 200 fly (1:59.07) and 200 back (1:56.50).

- Leo Fricker placed first in the 1000 free, hitting the wall in 10:05.14. It was Fricker's second win of the season.
