WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth Softball Head Coach Shannon Salsburg has announced the addition of Stavi Augur (Del Mar, CA/Torrey Pines/Coastal Carolina), who will join the program for the 2022 season as a graduate transfer.
 
Augur played the last four seasons at Coastal Carolina, compiling 128 hits, 20 home runs, 87 RBI, 30 doubles, and 75 runs. She batted .265 overall, including a .328 mark during a shortened junior season.
 
She earned Dean's List honors five times after registering a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
 
As a senior, Augur played in 39 games with 33 starts. She batted .259 with eight doubles, three home runs, and 14 RBI. Over the last 20 games of the season, Augur batted .333 (24-of-74) with 13 RBI, six doubles, and three home runs.
 
In the shortened season due to COVID, Augur batted .328 and had four home runs in addition to a team-best 21 RBI (third in the Sun Belt).
 
A four-year varsity member of Torrey Pines High School, she was a three-time first-team All-Palomar League and a two-time first-team All-CIF. Augur holds multiple records including hits, RBI and home runs in a season while also adding home runs in a career to the list.
