LODI, NJ – The Monmouth University bowling team earned a third-place finish on Friday afternoon at the Northeast Roundup, hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson at Lodi Lanes.
 
The Hawks went 1-3 head-to-head in the Friday event, with a victory over Wagner. 

Jamie Phelan earned a second-place finish, while Amanda Zappacosta, Jenna Lehrer and Saige Yamada each turned in individual 200+ games.

- The Hawks finished third with 3,560 pins over four traditional games during Friday's competition. 

- The event featured three Top 25 teams, #7 Fairleigh Dickinson, #13 Sacred Heart and #19 Monmouth.

NUMBERS CRUNCH
- Jamie Phelan totaled 731 pins for a 182.75 average and a second-place finish. 

- Saige Yamada rolled one 200+ game, a 209. She has six 200+ games this year and 28 for her career. Yamada averaged 197.33 to pace the Hawks.

- Amanda Zappacosta tossed her second 200+ game of the year, a season-best 214, the highest individual game score for the Hawks. It was her fifth-career 200+ effort.

- Jenna Lehrer threw a high game of 201, giving her three games above 200 pins this season.
