WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Head Swimming Coach
Matt Nunnally has announced the addition of Stephanie Pegues as an assistant coach. Pegues will join the program immediately and also serve as the Director of Aquatics at Monmouth.
"I am excited to welcome Stephanie to the coaching staff," Nunnally said. "Her coaching and teaching experience made her standout throughout the interview process. I anticipate her bringing great enthusiasm and energy to the program. Her ties to the shore area are an added bonus and will be helpful in recruiting the shore conference."
Pegues returns to the Jersey Shore following a five-year stint at Burnet High School in Texas where she led the high school and middle school programs with more than 50 student-athletes. Pegues' athletes advanced to the state level, earned scholastic awards and earned six coach of the year awards across swimming and diving.
