BALTIMORE, MD – The Monmouth University bowling team battled its MEAC rivals at the first conference meet of the season over the weekend, posting a 5-3 overall record.

MU went 3-2 on the first day of competition, picking up wins in Baker play over #14 Delaware State and #20 Maryland Eastern Shore in addition to Norfolk State. The Hawks dropped two Baker matches to #5 North Carolina A&T as well as Morgan State. Monmouth won two of their three Baker games on day two, besting Howard and Coppin State while losing to UAB.

The Hawks will travel to Milsboro, DE for the Hawk Classic hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore. The competition begins on Friday, November 19 and will end on Sunday, November 21.
