WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Field Hockey's Hanna McKie was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday. McKie led the offensive attack for the Hawks over the weekend, scoring a combined four goals in wins over UMass-Lowell and Stanford.
 
McKie found the back of the net twice in each victory while successfully converting two penalty strokes. It's the seventh time a Hawk has earned an America East weekly award this season. It's also the second time McKie has been selected after picking up honors the first week of the year.
 
The Hawks will take the field again this Friday, October 15th when they travel to New Hampshire for a 2:00 p.m. start.
