COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Monmouth University men's swimming team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) when the organization announced its Scholar All-America Teams for the Fall 2019 semester.

The award celebrates teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the past semester. Monmouth's men's swimming team has earned the award in back-to-back semesters.
"Being recognized as an Academic All-America Team is always a goal for our program," head coach
Matt Nunnally said. "I am proud of their hard work and excited to see both programs recognized by the CSCAA for their academic performances."

The men's team combined to accumulate a grade-point average of 3.28, the highest in the MAAC, and was one of eight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference teams to be recognized. At the Division I level, the Hawks were one of 109 men's swimming teams to receive the honor.
