GREENSBORO, NC – The Monmouth University bowling team competed at MEAC Meet #2 this weekend at AMF All-Star Lanes.

Monmouth placed in fifth overall at the two-day event, which included a top ten win over No. 6 Maryland Eastern Shore.

Sophomore
Camelia Coffman led Monmouth individually as she averaged 195.40 over five traditional games during Saturday's competition. Coffman's performance earned her a third place finish among all competitors.

- The #22 ranked Hawks defeated #6 Maryland Eastern Shore 966-914 on Saturday in traditional play.
 - Monmouth also defeated Norfolk State and Howard in traditional play and Bethune-Cookman in baker format.

- Monmouth's highest pin total in traditional play was 966 against Maryland Eastern Shore.
- The Hawks' largest margin of victory was 313 in the Baker match win over Bethune-Cookman.
- Junior
Kyla Day posted a team weekend high game of 220 in traditional match play. She now has 10 200+ games on the season.
- Sophomore
Camelia Coffman posted two 200+ games, with a high of 215, and she now has seven games above 200 this season.
- Senior
Haley Solberg bowled a high game of 204 and her two 200+ performances increase her season total to 12.
- Freshman
Saige Yamada bowled a high game of 203, giving her four 200+ games this year.
- Monmouth averaged 175.84 pins per game, which ranked fifth overall.
