ROCKAWAY, NJ – The Monmouth University women's bowling team opened its 2019-20 season with a second-place finish at the Caldwell Cougar Classic hosted by Caldwell University at Rockaway Lanes.
Monmouth went 9-3 during the three-day event, including a perfect 5-0 record in traditional team matches. The Hawks earned victories over four ranked opponents at the event, highlighted by their two wins over No. 9 Fairleigh Dickinson
Senior
Kyla Day led the Hawks individually with a 12th-place finish as she totaled 1,097 pins across six traditional games.

- The #25 ranked Hawks defeated four nationally-ranked opponents over the weekend, including two during Baker matches on Friday, #11 Sacred Heart and #24 Long Island University.
