WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 7, the softball doubleheader between Monmouth and Rider has been moved up to Friday, April 6. Game one is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM at MU Softball Park in West Long Branch, with game two set to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

With a 10-13 (2-0 MAAC) record, Monmouth will play its first two home games of the season. Last Saturday, the Hawks defeated MAAC preseason favorite Fairfield in both games, 6-0 and 8-2.
