HOUSTON, TX – The Monmouth University women's bowling team earned a ninth-place finish at the 2018 Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston State over the weekend.
Monmouth went 10-3 during the three-day event, including a 3-0 record in Championship play on Sunday, which included consecutive wins over #22 Maryville, Youngstown State, and nationally ranked and conference foe UAB. The Hawks also claimed head-to-head wins over Youngstown State, Alabama A&M, and Southern during Friday's Baker competition.
Senior
Haley Solberg paced the Hawks individually with a third overall finish as she averaged 214 over five traditional games, earning her All-Tournament Honors.
