WILMINGTON, DE –  The Monmouth University bowling team went 7-3 at its first meet as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference on Saturday and Sunday at Pleasant Hill Lanes.

Monmouth finished fourth at the two-day event, highlighted by a perfect 5-0 record during Saturday's traditional action. The Hawks knocked off two ranked opponents, both in traditional format, defeating #11 North Carolina A&T and #8 Delaware State.

Senior Haley Solberg led the Hawks individually and finished 21^st overall with a 175.40 average over five games.

- The #23 ranked Hawks defeated two nationally-ranked opponents on Saturday in Traditional play, #11 North Carolina A&T and #8 Delaware State.

- Monmouth's highest pin total in baker format was 921 against Howard.
- Monmouth's largest margin of victory was 152 pins in the traditional match win over Bethune-Cookman (821-669). 
- Freshman Saige Yamada led Monmouth with a 205 high game in traditional match play. Yamada posted the first two 200+ games of her career.
- Erin Mastropietro made her Monmouth debut.
- In 50 games this weekend, Monmouth averaged 168.2 pins per game, which ranked fifth overall.
