WEST POINT, NY – The Monmouth University men's tennis team wrapped up fall play at the Army Invite this weekend, winning 16 singles matches. The Hawks swept St. Bonaventure, Sacred Heart, and Marist in the singles portion of the tournament, and also registered six doubles wins on the weekend. Senior Srdjan Jakovljevic went 3-0 at No. 1 singles and defeated St. John's in doubles play with teammate Will Cooke Wharton. Juniors Max Benaim and Sergio Martinez teamed up for three doubles wins in addition to five singles wins combined. Monmouth's next match is scheduled for Sunday, February 3 at home against Wagner.
