WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 Academic All-District honorees for men's tennis and Monmouth had three student-athletes represented on the list.
Alex Martinez Sanz,
Diego Laporta and
Mateo Bivol each earned Academic All-District honors for their performances on the court and in the classroom. Martinez Sanz and Laporta were each honored for the second straight season.Â
Martinez Sanz and Bivol also earned All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) accolades after playing key roles in the Hawks going 19-4 this year.

To be eligible for the Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his current institution. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Eligible nominees need to be in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
