WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. -  The Monmouth University men's and women's indoor track teams recently announced that on Saturday, December 5th, the Hawks will host their inaugural indoor track meet inside the newly opened state-of-the-art Multipurpose Activity Center.

The meet will mark the first ever hosted indoor meet for Monmouth and will feature the MU women's and men's teams that finished first and second at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships last season. Field events are scheduled for 9:00 a.m., opening ceremony at 1:00 p.m. and track events starting at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free, and VIP credentials are $10.

Located at the center of MU's campus, the 153,200 square foot MAC houses a 4,100 seat competition arena; a 200-meter; six-lane indoor track; locker rooms; educational and conference space; ground-level bookstore; and fitness center.
