RICHMOND, Va. – Consecutive shutouts against St. John's and NJIT this week earned Monmouth women's soccer goalkeeper Tallulah Miller CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday morning.

The graduate netminder made six saves across the two games this weekend, earning the Hawks' third and fourth clean sheet of 2026.

This is Miller's second conference weekly honor, having previously earned the recognition on Oct. 6, 2025, following a pair of Monmouth wins where the Mechanicsville, Va., product allowed just one goal while making eight saves.

In Thursday's 1-0 victory over St. John's in West Long Branch, Miller made a a singular save and was vital to holding off a late Red Storm onslaught in the final minutes.

She continued her momentum on Sunday in Newark, N.J., stopping five total NJIT shots in a 3-0 Monmouth win. Two of her saves came in the opening 15 minutes, keeping the game scoreless early and allowing the Hawks to seize momentum.

Through seven games this season, Miller has played all 630 minutes, allowing just five goals and making 24 saves. She has posted four shutouts in those seven appearances and has five outings with at least three stops.

In her two-year Monmouth tenure, Miller has been credited with nine shutouts and has led the Hawks to a 13-5-3 mark as the team's starter between the pipes.

This is the second week in a row Monmouth has collected CAA weekly awards. A week ago, Ashley Lavrich was tabbed the conference's Offensive Player of the Week while Saar van der Boom earned Rookie of the Week honors.

The Hawks, who are 4-1-2 this season following this weekend's victories, will wrap up the non-conference portion of the schedule this coming Sunday when they host Columbia. Kickoff from Hesse Field on the Great Lawn is set for 1 p.m. on FloSports and SNY.
