WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 Academic All-District honorees for men's and women's track and field/cross country, and Monmouth University had eight student-athletes represented on the list.
Evan Niedrowski, Tyler Cappadona, Rondé Washington, D'Maari Brown and Tomas Barry from the men's team joined Emily Simko, Julie Thomas and Juliana Hopeck from the women's team on the CSC's annual list honoring those athletes who excelled in the classroom. This is Simko's second year in a row appearing on the list, having also qualified as a 2025 Academic All-District honoree.
Niedrowski, who won a CAA championship and finished 21st in the country this year in the men's javelin, advanced as a CSC Academic All-American finalist. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 14.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
