WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. — Monmouth's softball game previously scheduled as its home opener against Villanova will now be played at Villanova on Wednesday at 3 p.m. due to field conditions.

Wednesday's game will not be streamed.

The Hawks are now scheduled to open their home schedule on Friday at 2 p.m. against Hofstra.
