WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Jordan Trautman unveiled the team's 17-game 2026 schedule on Wednesday.
The Hawks will play nine times at home this season and will host four of their seven conference games in West Long Branch.
Monmouth returns 62 goals from last year's squad in 2026, including the team's leading point getter from a season ago, Shea Berigan, who tallied a team-best 33 goals and 45 points in 2025. 22 letterwinners are back for the Hawks this year, while Trautman boasts 10 new freshmen and four transfers for 2026.
The season kicks off on Feb. 7 when Monmouth will head to Massachusetts to face Merrimack, squaring off against the Warriors for the first time in program history. The home schedule will open four days later when La Salle comes to Kessler Stadium for a 2 p.m. clash on Feb. 11.
Up next is a quick two-game road swing, beginning with a Valentine's Day trip to Staten Island to face Wagner, taking on the Seahawks for the first time since 2014. The Hawks have won 21 of the 22 all-time meetings between the two programs. On Feb. 18, a short trip to Piscataway awaits for an in-state battle against Rutgers, the fifth straight season Monmouth has faced the Scarlet Knights.
On Feb. 22, Youngstown State visits the Jersey Shore for the first time before the Hawks host Lafayette on March 1. Monmouth has won its last two matchups against the Leopards in an all-time series that is tied at 7-7.
A March 4 road trip to Rider and a home matchup against Sacred Heart on March 11 will serve as the final tune-ups for conference play, before the team takes on Stony Brook on March 15 to open CAA competition. The Seawolves are Monmouth's lone 2026 opponent that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
The Hawks embark on their longest road trip of the season by distance on March 20, when they head to North Carolina to face Elon, and will take on Radford two days later in Virginia.
Upon returning home, Monmouth will play its only game of the season on Hesse Field against William & Mary on March 28 and will return to Kessler Stadium to host Campbell on April 4 to open the month.
The Hawks will head to Long Island to face Hofstra on April 11 before traveling to Philadelphia to challenge Drexel four days later in the final road match of the season.
Monmouth will celebrate its senior class on April 18 against Old Dominion before wrapping up the regular season against Towson on April 25.
