WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – No. 13 Monmouth Field Hockey climbed in the NFHCA national rankings for the fourth consecutive week, reaching the highest position in program history. The Hawks rose one spot from last week's No. 14 ranking.
Monmouth holds a 7-2 record this season and received 82 total votes in the latest poll. The team is coming off a 2-0 loss to No. 4 Harvard.
Junior
Lauren Relik leads the Hawks with a team-high 18 points, tallying four goals and 10 assists. Sophomore
Claire Campen follows closely with 16 points on eight goals, while fellow sophomore
Keely Bowers ranks third on the team with six goals and three assists.
Monmouth opens CAA play this Friday at 3 p.m. against Hofstra at So Sweet a Cat Field. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege.
