WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - Monmouth field hockey continues its rise in the NFHCA rankings, coming in at No. 14 — the highest ranking in program history.

The 6-1 Hawks are coming off a 4-2 victory over No. 17 Rutgers, marking their first win over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 17 Drexel last season. It was also Monmouth's first win against Rutgers since 2014.

Two Hawks earned CAA Weekly honors following the performance. Sophomore goalkeeper Charlie Bowman was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman Florence van Doorn was named the CAA Rookie of the Week.

Monmouth returns home on Friday at 3 p.m. to host Maine at So Sweet a Cat Field. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege.
