RICHMOND, VA – Two Monmouth University Athletics programs have been honored with 2024–25 CAA Team Academic Excellence Awards, the league announced Thursday afternoon.
Monmouth field hockey and men's golf earned the annual distinction, marking continued academic success in the Hawks' third year as members of the CAA. Field hockey claimed the honor for the third consecutive season, while men's golf earned back-to-back recognition.
The CAA Team Academic Excellence Award is presented to the team in each of the league's 22 sports with the highest collective grade point average. Team GPAs are calculated based on the academic performance of all student-athletes listed on an institution's roster through the conclusion of their respective championship seasons during the 2024-25 academic year.
