Cait Wetmore has announced the addition of transfer guard Alexis Andrews to the Monmouth University Women's Basketball roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Ranked as the No. 5 player in Alabama coming out of high school, Andrews has compiled an impressive collegiate resume with 908 career points, 115 steals, and 93 games played over three seasons. She spent two years at College of Charleston, where she started all 61 games and averaged 10.2 points per game while shooting 36.2% from the floor and 33.3% from three-point range. She most recently competed at Charlotte during the 2024-25 season, appearing in all 32 games and averaging 8.9 points per contest.
While at Charleston, Andrews emerged as one of the top guards in the CAA. She earned CAA All-Rookie Team honors in 2022-23 and was named CAA Rookie of the Week and Player of the Week during her sophomore campaign. Her scoring prowess was on full display with two 30-point performances, including a career-best 32 points against South Carolina State on December 19, 2023, where she knocked down nine three-pointers on 13 attempts helping her earn USBWA National Player of the Week honors. She also notched a double-double against North Carolina A&T on January 1, 2023.
During her lone season at Charlotte, Andrews contributed in each of the 49ers' 32 contests and started five, highlighted by a season-high 27-point outburst against Wichita State on February 12, 2025.
