WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2024-25 Academic All-District honorees for swimming on Tuesday afternoon and Monmouth had eight student-athletes represented on the lists.
Eight total swimming student-athletes were recognized by the organization following their respective seasons.
Alexa Houseknecht was honored for the third straight season while
Edie Ancell and
Hannah Parker were all honored for the second straight season. They were joined on the all-district team by
Corinne Pepper.
On the men's side
Owen Dyson and
Gavin Loughlin were honored for the second straight season. They were joined on the all-district team by
Ziv Cohen and
Kacper Sobieszuk.
To be eligible for the Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
The 2024‐25 Academic All‐District® Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes swimming and diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
